HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
Auto Electricians work on upfitting a wide range of truck and utility equipment, spanning from Vans to Class 8/9 Trucks. They should have experience in assembling and installing equipment and products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble/install equipment and products.
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Always work in a safe manner.
Be self-starting with basic vehicle electrical knowledge.
Learn/follow established company electrical guidelines.
Be proficient at troubleshooting simple electrical installations.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge and experience of 12-volt electrical diagnostics and wiring.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions.
A team-player with a good work ethic (courteous, flexible punctual and professional).
A level-headed, detail-oriented and safety contentious individual.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Related work or educational experience.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL ENVIRONMENT:
This job is predominantly indoors in a shop/manufacturing setting and will occur in the production area. Although the position is indoors there will be varying temperatures between different areas.
Will encounter a substantial amount of varying background noise.
Majority of the time will be spent sitting, standing, and walking on hard surfaces, for prolonged periods of time.
Substantial amount of pushing, pulling, and lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical, installation, and hand-eye coordination skills.
