About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team that has experience in Benefits and Eligibility and Prior Authorizations at Oregon Advanced Imaging, Medford, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care by verifying their eligibility and benefits coverage and obtaining prior authorizations. You will work closely with our billing and prior authorization teams to ensure that all necessary information is collected and processed accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be critical to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and lucrative PTO days (15 days accrued in the first year), Sick Time, 401K options, Medical, Vision, and dental etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare benefits and eligibility verification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
• Certification in healthcare administration or related field

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits coverage
• Communicate with insurance providers to obtain necessary prior authorizations
• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and insurance coverage
• Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance policies and regulations

Skills:

As an employee at Oregon Advanced Imaging, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be critical to ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EHR systems will also be important in this role. Additionally, knowledge of medical terminology and coding, would be beneficial.
