Job Description

A cake decorator at Dunkin' Donuts receives orders, manages inventory, decorates cakes, and provides customer service. They may also work with icing, decopacs, and product displays.

Responsibilities

• Take orders : Receive orders online, by phone, or in person
• Manage inventory : Keep track of cake and icing inventory
• Prepare icing : Stock decopacs and prepare icing
• Decorate cakes : Decorate cakes according to design standards
• Provide customer service : Work with guests and team members
• Maintain displays : Maintain the freezer and refrigerated showcase
• Fill orders : Fill customer special orders and make cakes ahead for pickup
• Follow procedures : Follow sanitation procedures and health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Experience in a bakery is preferred
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Good organizational skills
• Demonstrates artistic ability
• Exhibits excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
