Job Description

Our client, a community-focused organization, is seeking a Part Time Afternoon / Evening Custodian / Janitor to join their team. As a Custodian / Janitor, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting the cleanliness and organization of various facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to tasks, and excellent time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Custodian / Janitor

Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY

Pay Range: $17 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm- Part Time

What's the Job?

• Deep clean kitchens to prepare for events.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and classrooms.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for special events.
• Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, trash disposal, and washing surfaces.
• Work flexible part-time hours to meet the needs of the organization.

What's Needed?

• Some prior experience required but the willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various hours as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
