Digital ASIC Design Engineer- Michigan

As a Digital Design Lead , you will take ownership of the entire design process, from architecture and RTL through to verification, synthesis, and sign-off. This position offers the chance to work across diverse disciplines, engage with cross-functional teams, and play a critical role in delivering high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the specification, design, verification, and sign-off of complex digital systems.
• Take full ownership of the design process, driving projects from RTL to GDS delivery.
• Manage synthesis, timing closure, and design sign-off to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
• Collaborate closely with application engineers to support customer engagement.
• Partner with silicon validation teams for thorough post-silicon analysis and optimisation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Porven experience in 4+ tapeouts
• Hands-on experience leading SOC design projects, including ownership of multiple ASIC tapeouts across various technology nodes.
• Expertise in digital design systems, architecture, and verification processes.
• Proficiency in block- and system-level Verilog verification within ASIC environments.
• Knowledge of block-level P&R, including clock tree synthesis (CTS), extraction, timing closure, and DRC/LVS.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within a team.
