Senior Tax Accountant - Hybrid Location - Miami, FL

We are looking for individuals who have tax experience and want to take their career to the next level by joining our tax team. We have been growing the last few years and are now a firm of about 80+ people, so there are plenty of opportunities for mentorship, growth and technical development.

THE SKILL SET

• Understanding of relevant tax legislation corporate, personal and partnership tax compliance and planning.
• Must have experience in financial statement preparation of compilations/reviews.
• Preparation of complex individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.
• Assist with the process and review of tax returns.
• Various financial analysis including but not limited to balance sheets and income statements.
• Team player, client focused, and quality in detailed work.
• Displays strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills required, multi-tasker.
• Proficient with CCH ProSystems FX tax, QuickBooks, Excel and/or RIA Checkpoint a plus.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in public accounting, in Tax.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, Master’s degree or working to attain it.
• Must have CPA license or working to attain it.
