Competitive compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 Weeks (15 days) Additional Paid Holidays Employer-sponsored medical benefits Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for client intake, gathering necessary information, providing updates, and ensuring confidentiality. • Communicate regularly with clients, lenders, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes. • Collect property and financial details, and assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing key real estate documents such as purchase agreements, deeds, and closing documents. • Coordinate real estate transactions in both English and Spanish, including preparing closing checklists and scheduling closings. • Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files, ensuring proper documentation for efficient retrieval and tracking. • Assist in clearing title by obtaining necessary documents from prior settlement companies and ensuring accurate documentation. • Prepare documents for settlement, attend closings, ensure all necessary signings are completed, and save scanned documents in their respective files. • Conduct title searches and due diligence, identifying and addressing any issues with attorneys and title companies. • Perform legal research related to real estate matters and provide the attorney with analysis to support client advice and strategies. • Issue or amend title policies, create post-closing packages and liaise with lenders to ensure document requests are fulfilled. • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies, ensuring timely and accurate submission. • Provide administrative support including scheduling, notarizing documents, handling correspondence, and managing billing records. • Assist with business planning, document drafting, and billing through data entry and supporting the attorney’s contract practices. • Manage the post-closing process for real estate transactions. • Prepare and issue title policies in a timely manner. • Ensure satisfaction of mortgages and liens are properly recorded. • Confirm that all closing files are properly finalized and documented. • Ensure buyers receive their post-closing package with all necessary documents. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree or certification in paralegal studies is preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in a real estate or legal support role, preferably with a focus on real estate transactions. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with real estate-specific tools or legal databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw). • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, agents, and other stakeholders. • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
