Job SummaryThe TV Production - Radio Tech position involves providing technical support for in-studio and remote television productions, special projects, and outreach activities. The role includes operating and maintaining various television equipment, assisting with video editing, and preparing studio settings for different events. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of video production and editing, looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssociates in Communication or other related field with up to one-year professional experience in video/audio pre-production, production, and post-production.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong working knowledge of professional video production equipment.
Some experience developing and managing professional high-quality audio/video projects in a fast-paced organization, or news environment.
6 months 1 year experience with non-linear editing systems: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Audition and other video and audio based software applications.
6 months-1 year experience with professional digital work stations, audio boards found in radio stations.
6-months-1 year experience with Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook. As well as knowledge of MAC OS and applications such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop.
Some experience with Programming Automation systems such as Leightronix Nexus, Nex Gen/Zetta, Selector, or other video/audio programming automation systems.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications or other related field.
Preferred working knowledge of audio and video streaming technologies and a thorough understanding of the editing, encoding and the digitizing process
Experience with time management, organization, critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions that result in quality video and audio content.
Ability to work independently.

Knowledge of audio/visual accessories such as cables, connectors, and converters with the ability to identify and solve problems as well as perform minor repairs /maintenance as needed.
Knowledge of professional video cameras, DSLR and still photography.
Skilled in customer service.
Skilled in oral and written communications.
Ability to carry and move heavy equipment.
