What is the job?

PART TIME SATURDAY & SUNDAY ONLY Job Delivering packages for FedEx

You will be delivering about 100 to 160 stops per day

Service area: University of Washington Area (FedEx terminal is in Auburn, WA where you will START and STOP)

The PAY

Training rate of $150 per day (training is until you can service the route yourself - usually takes anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks)

Non Training PAY - HIGHER of $200 per day or $1.70 per stop (This is GROSS pay not NET - meaning this is before taxes NOT after taxes).

The GOOD:

Highly condensed area

All stops are GPS mapped

You will work anywhere from 6 to 10 hours per day

Brand new delivery truck

Work and hours are consistent - FedEx is not going anywhere.

The BAD:

You will fight traffic from Auburn, WA terminal to the University of Washington Area and fight traffic again back to the Auburn, WA FedEx terminal.

It is a physically demanding job

REQUIREMENTS

• ∙ Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• ∙ Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
• ∙ Pass a DOT physical
• ∙ Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck
• ∙ Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
• ∙ Have reliable transportation to and from work -️ Be on time and ready to work each workday
• ∙ Be able to climb stairs
• ∙ Be able to work in all types of weather
• ∙ Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

If you are looking for short-term work, please do not apply. It will take at least 2-4 weeks for you to learn the route during which point you will only be paid the training rate of $750 per week

Work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries. (CDL License Not required) If you have been a Local Driver, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Courier, Pick Up Driver, Delivery driver - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies - that is a plus! We have a job waiting for you as we are hiring urgently and immediately.

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• ∙ Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
• ∙ Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 150 stops a day
• ∙ Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
• ∙ Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads
• ∙ Work independently and as part of a team
• ∙ Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• ∙ Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• ∙ Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• ∙ Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
